Udaipur, July 10: Hindustan Zinc Limited, under its CSR initiative, successfully organized health camps in key areas of Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, including Agucha, Chanderiya, Jawar, Dariba, and Pantnagar, in collaboration with Mamta HIMC. More than 1,100 beneficiaries received quality healthcare services, comprising 561 women and 540 men.
To ensure convenience and inclusivity for the beneficiaries, door-to-door transportation was provided, ensuring that no individual was left without access to health services.
The camps featured a team of gynecologists, orthopedic specialists, and general physicians who offered personalized and comprehensive consultations. Essential health services such as hemoglobin tests, blood pressure measurements, and random blood sugar screenings were available, along with the distribution of free medicines to ensure immediate relief and ongoing healthcare.
This initiative extends beyond mere healthcare; it has proven to be an empowering and impactful model for rural and tribal communities. It has addressed barriers to accessing health services, promoted awareness and prevention, and encouraged timely treatment among the people. The efforts of Hindustan Zinc Limited and Mamta HIMC are bringing about meaningful and sustainable changes at the grassroots level, fostering healthier, stronger, and empowered communities.
