Udaipur, July 13: A significant advancement in diagnostic services has been marked by the grand opening of the Shree Diagnostic PET-CT Centre in Lake City. This centre will provide advanced diagnostic services to patients from southern Rajasthan, as well as nearby Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, ensuring better convenience in terms of time, resources, and treatment.
The inauguration was conducted by Rahul Agarwal, Chairman of the Pacific Group, and was attended by notable doctors and residents, including Dr. M.M. Mangal from Pacific Medical University, CEO Sharad Kothari, and Centre Director Dr. Manoj Mahajan, among others. The centre will also offer facilities for Bhamashah and RGHS patients.
During the inauguration, Rahul Agarwal emphasized the critical role of timely and accurate diagnostic testing in modern medicine, stating that services such as PET-CT and gamma camera imaging are being made more accessible. The centre is designed to provide high-quality diagnostic services under expert supervision, including whole-body oncology PET and CT with IV contrast, cardiac PET and CT, brain PET and CT, and PET-CT fusion services. Additionally, significant tests under gamma camera imaging will include DTPA scans, MUGA scans, DMSA renal scans, thyroid scans, parathyroid scans, whole-body 131-I scans, DRCG scans, stress MPI, rest MPI, and bone scans.
PET-CT and nuclear medicine tests are particularly beneficial for diagnosing cancer, heart diseases, kidney-related issues, and other complex medical conditions. These tests allow for early identification of diseases, aiding doctors in formulating effective treatment plans. The centre will feature modern technology, trained staff, and precise reporting as its key attributes.
