Udaipur, August 3: A successful blood donation camp was organized by Dermadent Clinic in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Udaipur and the Dental Practitioners Society of Udaipur (DPSU). The camp saw enthusiastic participation from doctors, youth, and various community members, resulting in the collection of 61 units of blood, fulfilling the organizers’ commitment.
Dr. Anand Gupta, President of Rajasthan IMA, shared that the camp was inaugurated by Dr. Priya Agarwal, President of DPSU, who was the first to donate blood, inspiring others to contribute to this noble cause. Dr. Gupta emphasized that blood donation is one of the greatest services to humanity, as a single unit of blood can save multiple lives. He urged the community to engage in regular blood donation.
The blood collection process was safely and systematically managed by the team from the Blood Bank Department of R.N.T. Medical College. Prior to donating, all donors underwent health checks, and each donor was honored with a certificate post-donation.
On this occasion, officials from Dermadent Clinic, IMA Udaipur, and DPSU praised the altruism of all donors, stating that such initiatives, supported by the community, prove life-saving for patients in need.
