Speeding Car Collides with Three Bikes in Udaipur

Udaipur, May 29: A speeding car wreaked havoc in the Hirann Magri police station area of Udaipur. On Wednesday, a runaway car collided forcefully with three motorcycles parked along the service road on Sector-4 Road. Following the impact, the car lost control and crashed into a tree. CCTV footage of the incident was released on Thursday, showing the car speeding and knocking the bikes aside.

Upon hearing the loud crash, nearby residents rushed to the scene. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but all three motorcycles and the car were severely damaged. The Hirann Magri police arrived at the scene after receiving the report and detained the driver, Praveen Kumar Lohar, a resident of Thana Sarada, seizing the vehicle.

Station Officer Ravindra Singh Charan stated that during questioning, the driver claimed that a plastic water bottle had rolled under his foot while driving, causing him to lose control of the accelerator. However, eyewitnesses reported that the car was traveling at a high speed. According to police, no case was registered as both parties reached a settlement and no written complaint was filed.
