Disruptions in Rail Services Due to Yard Remodeling

Bengaluru, May 14: The South Western Railway has announced non-interlocking work for yard remodeling at Bengaluru station, which will affect rail traffic. According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railway, several train services will be impacted due to this work.

Partially Cancelled Train Services (From Starting Station)

  1. Train No. 16534, Bengaluru-Jodhpur service, will depart from Yeshvantpur instead of Bengaluru on August 2, 2026, resulting in partial cancellation between Bengaluru and Yeshvantpur stations.
  2. Train No. 20693, Jodhpur-Bengaluru service, will operate only up to Yeshvantpur on July 30 and August 1, 2026, leading to partial cancellation between Yeshvantpur and Bengaluru.
  3. Train No. 20694, Bengaluru-Jodhpur service, will also depart from Yeshvantpur instead of Bengaluru on August 3, 2026, causing partial cancellation between Bengaluru and Yeshvantpur.

Altered Route Train Services (From Starting Station)

  1. Train No. 16209, Ajmer-Mysuru service, will run via Arasikere-Hassan-Krishnarajanagar on July 31 and August 2, 2026, with stops at Tumkur, Yeshvantpur, Malleswaram, Bengaluru, Ramanagara, and Mandya stations.
