Dungarpur, May 21: A 12th-grade student tragically took her own life in the Sulai Kherwada village of the Dungarpur district. At the time of the incident, the student was alone at home with her younger brother.
Head Constable Khushpal Singh reported that Reena, the daughter of Jiva Ahari, had recently completed her 12th grade. On Wednesday morning, her parents had gone to Dungarpur to pay a motorcycle installment. In the afternoon, family members were alerted that Reena was not opening her room door.
When the family accessed the room from the roof, they found Reena hanging. It was revealed that Reena was upset with her younger brother for taking her mobile phone and had not been speaking to anyone. The police have handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem, and an investigation into the reasons for the suicide is ongoing.
