Chittorgarh, May 20: A couple in Bansan village, under the Peepalwas police station area of Chittorgarh district, consumed a poisonous substance following a dispute over mobile phone usage. Both were found unconscious and were admitted to the district hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
According to reports, 22-year-old Ramlal Bhil and his 20-year-old wife Seema had been arguing over the phone for some time. Ramlal suspected Seema of talking to another person and being preoccupied with her phone throughout the day. This led to a heated argument on Monday night.
As the dispute escalated, the couple went into their room and ingested poison. When they did not come out for a long time, family members grew concerned. Upon opening the door, they found both of them unconscious. With the help of family and neighbors, they were rushed to the government hospital in Chittorgarh.
During treatment, Seema regained consciousness, while Ramlal was admitted to the ICU. Doctors later reported that his condition is improving, and both are now out of danger.
