Congress Protests Against NEET-2026 Paper Leak

Udaipur, May 14: The Congress party staged a vigorous protest in Udaipur on Wednesday against the NEET-2026 exam paper leak. Following directives from the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, both the city and rural district Congress committees united for a demonstration at Chetak Circle, vocally opposing the central government and the National Testing Agency (NTA). During the protest, a effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also burned.

The protest was led by Rural Congress President Raghuveer Singh Meena and City Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore. Congress leaders accused the government of jeopardizing the futures of millions of students due to the recurring paper leak incidents, asserting that the central government has failed to address this serious issue. They expressed concerns over the diminishing credibility of the examination system and the eroding trust of the youth.

Congress workers demanded a fair investigation, strict action against the culprits, and the resignation of the Union Education Minister. They warned that if the government does not take concrete steps to protect the interests of students, the protests would escalate across the state.

Notable attendees included Mavli MLA Pushkar Lal Dangi, former MLA Trilok Purbiya, PCC Vice President Suresh Shrimali, General Secretary Pankaj Sharma, and former Minister Jagdishraj Shrimali, along with a large number of Congress officials and workers.

It is important to note that following concerns over the paper leak, the NTA cancelled the NEET-2026 exam scheduled for May 3. This decision has sparked significant outrage among students and parents nationwide. Congress has condemned this as a major betrayal of the youth’s future, holding the central government accountable.
