Udaipur, May 17: An ad-hoc committee formally took charge at Bhupal Nobles (BN) Institute amid ongoing disputes regarding the executive committee of the Vidya Pracharini Sabha. This development occurred on Saturday, a day after the Jodhpur High Court’s ruling, with Chairman Yuvraj Singh Jhala and several committee members arriving at the institute to commence operations. The action was directed by the chief patron and president of the Vidya Pracharini Sabha, Vishwaraj Singh Mewar.
The ad-hoc committee also installed a nameplate for Chairman Yuvraj Singh Jhala outside their office on the institute premises. It was reported that the previous executive committee members had locked the old office, prompting the committee to establish a temporary office in another room.
Increased Activity Following High Court Ruling
Earlier, on Friday, a single bench of Justice Shubha Mehta at the Jodhpur High Court deemed comments made by the Additional District Judge No. 3, Udaipur, regarding the rights of former royal family member and VP Sabha president Vishwaraj Singh Mewar as unlawful and undesirable. The court ordered the removal of those comments.
Committee Formed on April 12
Ad-hoc committee member Narendra Singh Kachhawa stated that an 11-member committee was formed on April 12. He noted that the term of the previous executive committee had ended on February 12. Following the High Court’s order, the regular operations of the institute have now commenced. Kachhawa also mentioned that a fair audit of the institution will be conducted, and elections for the Vidya Pracharini Sabha will be held soon under the president’s directives.
