Udaipur, August 6: A four-day orientation program titled “Orientation and Induction Week–2026” commenced at Pacific University, welcoming newly admitted students in a vibrant atmosphere. The program aims to familiarize students with the university’s academic and extracurricular activities, build their confidence, provide opportunities to make new friends, and inform them about future prospects.
On this occasion, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hemant Kothari, stated that the orientation program’s goal is to introduce students to the university’s academic culture, values, and resources, enabling them to embark on their new academic journey with confidence.
The chief guests for the event were RAS Shri Digvijay Singh Jhala and fashion designer Ms. Aakriti Malik. Addressing the students, the guests emphasized that university life is not merely a means to obtain a degree but a significant opportunity for personal development, leadership skills, innovation, and social responsibility. They encouraged students to move forward with a positive mindset, discipline, and a spirit of continuous learning.
Faculty Chairman Professor Dileendra Hiran welcomed the students, stating that the four-day program would provide them with insights into various academic processes, innovation, research, student activities, and career-related opportunities. Additionally, students will have the chance to interact with experienced faculty and senior students.
Throughout the program, various activities will be organized, including inspiring lectures, interactive sessions, departmental introductions, and personality development activities, helping students adapt comfortably to the university environment and lay a strong foundation for their bright future.
