Boiler Blast Claims Lives of Two Workers

Udaipur, May 29: A tragic incident occurred in a plastic factory located in the Riico Industrial Area of Udaipur, where a boiler explosion resulted in the death of two workers. Following the accident, family members and members of various communities protested outside the mortuary of MB Hospital, demanding compensation and refusing to allow post-mortem examinations of the deceased.

The victims were identified as Bhawar Singh Jhala and Madhulal Gameti, both residents of Badundia village in the Gogunda area. Reports indicate that a sudden explosion in the boiler caused chaos at the site. Madhulal Gameti died on the spot, while Bhawar Singh succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital.

Family members alleged that the factory owner fled the scene after the incident. Anger spread among the Rajput community, Bhil community, and members of the Karni Sena. Arjun Singh Chundawat from the Karni Sena stated that no post-mortem would be conducted until the families of the deceased receive appropriate compensation.

DSP Suryaveer Singh Rathore and police from the Pratap Nagar station were present at the scene to mediate. The police have assured that appropriate action will be taken as per regulations.
