The sessions also highlighted preventive measures against TB, including maintaining hygiene, covering the mouth while coughing or sneezing, exercising caution in crowded places, consuming a nutritious diet, and seeking immediate medical attention at the nearest health center upon exhibiting symptoms. Additionally, information about government-operated free TB testing and treatment facilities was shared. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the Prime Minister’s TB Free India campaign.

Through these efforts, a commitment was expressed to enhance awareness about TB across various sections of society and contribute positively towards the goal of a ‘TB Free India.’
