Holi Celebration and International Womens Day Observed in Udaipur

Udaipur, March 9: A grand event was organized by the Panchvati Committee today to celebrate Holi and International Women’s Day, aimed at honoring women and promoting social unity.

Vice President Manish Joshi shared details about the event, which featured Pradeep Kumawat as the chief guest, along with distinguished guests such as Sushil Dashora, Sushma Kumawat, Omprakash Agarwal, DPS founder Govind Agarwal, and B.L. Paliwal. Various cultural and social programs were presented by the women’s club during the event.

Panchvati Committee President Savyasachi Bhatnagar welcomed the guests. Under the direction of women’s club president Praveena Porwal, approximately 75 women were honored, along with senior citizens from the Panchvati area, expressing gratitude for their social contributions.

During the ceremony, notable seniors recognized included Mahesh Puri Goswami, Tej Singh Manawat, Mrs. Ashalata Kachhawa, Mrs. Shobha Babel, Mrs. Sudha Acharya, and Mrs. Shobha Babel. Plans were also announced for the renovation of the Panchvatishwar Hanuman Temple, which will be enhanced in the coming year.

The event featured a women’s Housie game and a women’s honor ceremony, conducted by Praveena Porwal, Secretary Kusum Bhansali, Treasurer Parveen, and patrons Anita Bhatnagar, Pramila Porwal, Gunjan, and Shilpa. Other notable attendees included Panchvati Committee members Deepak Jain, Manish Acharya, Praful Manawat, Manish Joshi, Naveen Upadhyay, and Narayan Sharma. The program was conducted by former councilor Ajay Porwal, with a vote of thanks delivered by event coordinator Yatindra Babel at the conclusion.
