
Mumbai, March 9: The trophy for the Mahavir Jain Premier League 2 was unveiled in a ceremony held at a private hotel on College Road, under the auspices of the Mahavir Jain Council, Udaipur. The event took place in the presence of Rajkumar Fattawat, President of the Udaipur Jain Community, and Dr. Suresh Nahar, Tehsildar of Khamnor, along with team owners and hundreds of players.
During his address, Chief Guest Rajkumar Fattawat encouraged the youth to actively participate in the 20-day celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir, and urged them to register for the upcoming rally featuring 1008 two-wheeled vehicles. He extended best wishes to the Youth Wing for the success of the Mahavir Jain Premier League 2.
Deepak Singvi, President of the Indian Jain Organisation, announced that the league is being organized with the support of title sponsor Mahapragya Jewellers, along with Nakoda Developers and Builders, Dhanuka Marbles Private Limited, and Decathlon.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Bhupendra Gajawat, Executive President, Jitendra Sisodia, General Secretary, Virendra Mahatma, Treasurer, Meena Kawadiya, President of the Ladies Wing, and social workers Rajeev Surana, Ayush Vaktawat, and Sarvesh Jain, among many youth members.
In total, 180 male players from 30 teams and 78 female players from 13 teams will participate in the league, with selections made through an auction by team owners and captains. The winners and runners-up in both the men’s and women’s categories will receive prizes of ₹51,000 and ₹31,000 respectively, while the Man of the Tournament, Best Batsman, and Best Bowler will each receive ₹3,100.
The ceremony commenced with the auspicious chanting of the Namaskar Mahamantra, followed by a welcome address from Bhavik Pokharna, President of the Youth Wing, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Anjali Surana. The event was elegantly conducted by Vaibhav Jaroali.
The three-day Mahavir Jain Premier League 2 will feature teams including Anushka Academy, Car 27, Radha Raman Rental, Your Startup, Riddhi Siddhi, P Mart, Aravali Services, V3, Aakriti Capital, Kayan Buildmart, Trans Com Logistics, Hotel Maple, Nakoda Plywood, Secret Resort, Sobho, Darshil Event, Adrisha Real Estate, Techno Line, Arihant Motorpart, Arihant Nursing, Jai Jinendra Granite, Leo Aluminium, Badala Classes, Dr. Mahima Dental Care, Indian Jewellers, Mahavir Group of Institute, Jain Traders, MRK Hardware and Decor, Eklavya Academy, and Shri Mahavir Youth Forum Institute, among others.
