Indian Army Issues 2027 Recruitment Rally Notification

Jaipur, 13 February 2026 (Daily Kiran): Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Jaipur has released the notification for recruitment in the Indian Army for the Recruiting Year 2027 for JCO/OR ranks across multiple categories.

The notified categories include Agniveer (General Duty), Agniveer (Technical), Agniveer (Clerk/Store Keeper Technical), Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass), Agniveer Tradesman (8th Pass), Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police), Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary) and Sepoy Pharma.

As per the notification, Agniveer candidates may apply for two Agniveer categories in addition to Regular Entry categories, subject to eligibility. Candidates opting for two categories must submit separate application forms and appear in two Common Entrance Examinations related to their chosen categories. However, only one Recruitment Rally and Medical Examination will be conducted for the category requiring higher Physical Fitness Test and medical standards. Final selection in any applied category will be strictly based on merit.

The application process will begin on 13 February 2026 and continue until 01 April 2026 through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The Common Entrance Examination is tentatively scheduled for June 2026. Admit cards will be uploaded on the website 10 to 15 days before the examination date for candidates who successfully submit their applications.

Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Jaipur informed that in previous recruitment years, Rajasthan recorded one of the highest registration numbers in the country. The headquarters has appealed to the youth of Rajasthan to apply in large numbers and uphold the stateโ€™s traditions of valour and bravery.

Candidates have also been cautioned against falling prey to touts, as the recruitment process is fully transparent and automated, and selection is purely merit-based.
