The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued the exam city slip for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-2 and Executive examination 2025. Candidates who cleared the Tier-1 exam can now download their city slip to check the venue for the Tier-2 exam.
To access the exam city slip, candidates must log in using their User ID and password on the official website.
The IB ACIO Tier-2 (Mains) exam is scheduled for January 11, 2026. The city slip provides essential details such as the exam city, date, and shift to help candidates prepare in advance.
Steps to download the IB ACIO exam city slip:
1. Visit the Ministry of Home Affairs official website at mha.gov.in.
2. Click on the ‘IB ACIO Grade-II/Exe Tier-2 City Intimation’ link on the homepage.
3. Enter your User ID and password to log in.
4. Navigate to the ‘City Intimation’ tab.
5. Your exam city slip will appear on the screen.
6. Download and print the slip for future reference.
The Tier-2 exam is a descriptive test of 50 marks, comprising Essay Writing (30 marks) and English Comprehension/Precis Writing (20 marks). Candidates will be allotted one hour to complete this exam.
It is important to note that the city slip is not the admit card. The official admit card, which will include the exact exam centre address and roll number, will be released in the first week of January 2026. Candidates must carry the original admit card along with a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar or PAN card to the exam centre.
