Regarding passing criteria, the Bihar STET has set minimum qualifying marks based on category. General category candidates must secure at least 50 per cent marks to pass. Successful candidates will receive an eligibility certificate from the board, which is mandatory for recruitment as teachers at the secondary (classes 9 and 10) and senior secondary (classes 11 and 12) levels in government schools across Bihar.
