Captain Polyplast Secures Rs 27.69 Crore Order, Shares Rise

Captain Polyplast’s shares rose by 3.27% to trade at Rs. 82.70 on the BSE, up 2.62 points from the previous close of Rs. 80.08. The stock opened at Rs. 80.10 and recorded an intraday high of Rs. 84.40 and a low of Rs. 79.10, with 1,76,545 shares changing hands.

The company’s BSE group ‘X’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 2, has seen a 52-week high of Rs. 128.00 on 10 January 2025 and a 52-week low of Rs. 58.41 on 30 September 2025. Over the last week, the stock’s price ranged between Rs. 78.31 and Rs. 84.40. Captain Polyplast’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs. 499.21 crore.

Promoters hold 69.08% stake in the company, while non-institutional investors hold 30.92%.

Captain Polyplast has secured an additional order worth approximately Rs. 27.69 crore (inclusive of GST) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). This order involves the empanelment of 1,000 solar pumps under the PM KUSUM B scheme. Previously, the company had received an order for 500 solar pumps from MSEDCL.

This new order further strengthens Captain Polyplast’s order book in the renewable energy and agricultural infrastructure sectors. It highlights the company’s strong position in government-backed solar irrigation programmes under PM KUSUM B, reflecting the growing demand for solar pumping solutions supported by policies promoting clean energy adoption in agriculture.

The combined empanelment underscores Captain Polyplast’s execution capabilities, robust manufacturing infrastructure, and extensive regional experience, positioning the company to benefit from expanding solar irrigation initiatives and future empanelments.

Captain Polyplast specialises in manufacturing, exporting, and trading high-quality HDPE pipes and irrigation equipment. Its product range includes drip irrigation systems, sprinkler irrigation systems, disc filters, screen filters, hydro cyclone filters, sand (gravel) filters, compression fittings, electric and mechanical valves, fertiliser tanks, digital controllers, and pressure gauges.
