Police Crack Down on Drug Traffickers in Udaipur

Udaipur, March 28: In a significant operation against illegal drugs, the Dabok police have made two major arrests within three days under the special campaign ‘Operation Trinetra’. The police apprehended two suspects and seized a total of 4.7 kilograms of cannabis, 5.95 grams of MDMA, and an unregistered motorcycle.

This operation is being conducted under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan, following directives from the Inspector General of Police, Udaipur Range. The swift actions were carried out by the Dabok police team under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Anjana Sukhalwal and led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (IPS) Ashima Vaswani.

The first arrest occurred on March 24, 2026, when a police team detained Ratanlal, a resident of Nauwa Pachoria, based on a tip-off. He was found in possession of 4.7 kilograms of illegal cannabis. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered, and the investigation has been assigned to Mavli Station House Officer Ashok Kumar.

The second arrest took place on March 27, 2026, during a blockade operation, where Gajendra Singh, a resident of Bhatiyon Ka Kua, Maharaj Ki Khedi, was apprehended. He was found with 5.95 grams of MDMA and an unregistered motorcycle. This case has also been registered under the NDPS Act, with the investigation handed over to Ghasa Station House Officer Surendra Singh.

The police have stated that a detailed investigation is ongoing in both cases, and they are also looking into other networks involved in drug trafficking. The team, led by Station House Officer Gopal Nath, played a crucial role in these operations, with members Arjun Singh, Bherulal, Jayanarayan, Dharmaram, Vikas, Satveer, and Nikhil contributing significantly.
