Kidneys Removed Instead of Tumour: Father Files Complaint Against 15 at Mathura Hospital

Bharatpur. A disturbing incident from Deeg district in Rajasthan has shocked everyone. A father took his young son to a hospital for treatment, but the hospital allegedly removed the child’s kidney instead of treating him properly. Now, the victim father has filed a complaint against 15 people, including seven doctors.

The case is linked to Kanta Devi Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in Akbarpur, Mathura. Bhim Singh, son of Yadram from Kaithwara in the Pahadi Tehsil of Deeg district, lodged a report at Chhapa police station through a court petition. The complaint names doctors Shyam Bihari Sharma, Samarth, Ashish, Nischetna, Deepak Agarwal, Shalini, Pushpendra, and others.

Last year in May, Bhim Singh’s one-and-a-half-year-old son Mayank developed stomach pain. On 28 May, Mayank was admitted to Kanta Devi Medical College Hospital where doctors advised surgery to remove a lump. The operation was performed on 30 May, and the child was discharged on 4 June. The family then returned to their village.

About eight months later, in February this year, Mayank complained of stomach pain again. The family took him to a private hospital in Alwar for treatment. There, doctors revealed a shocking fact: one of the child’s kidneys was missing. The family was stunned. They admitted Mayank to JK Lone Hospital in Jaipur where doctors confirmed the absence of the kidney.

Bhim Singh alleges that the kidney was taken from his son under the pretext of removing a lump at the Mathura hospital. When he raised the issue with the hospital administration, he was allegedly threatened and intimidated. The police initially refused to register the complaint. Bhim Singh even approached the Chief Minister’s residence and met with Akhilesh Yadav to share his plight. Despite this, no action was taken until the case was finally registered through a court petition.

The victim father said he has a two-and-a-half-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter. He supports his family by selling vegetables. The shock of the kidney removal has left him devastated. He has appealed to the police and administration for justice.
