Woman Accused in Moving Car Gangrape Case Denied Bail in Udaipur

New Delhi: The bail plea of a female accused in the high-profile moving car gangrape case that occurred in Udaipur last month has been rejected by the court. The Additional District Judge, Court No. 2, deemed it inappropriate to grant bail and dismissed the petition.

The accused’s lawyer, Ravindra Singh Hiran, argued various points in favour of bail. Earlier, bail applications for all three accused filed by the same lawyer in the lower court were also dismissed.

The incident came to light when the victim filed a complaint on 23 December 2025 at Sukher police station. She accused the CEO of an IT company, a female executive, and her husband of gangrape inside a car on the night of 20 December 2025, following a party.

The police arrested all three accused, who remain in judicial custody. The investigation is being led by Deputy SP Madhuri Verma.
