
Mumbai, March 9: Udaipur celebrated a moment of pride as Lieutenant Divyraj Singh Rathore returned home after receiving his commission in the Indian Army. His arrival was met with a grand welcome from family members and local residents.
The atmosphere in the city was filled with enthusiasm as a large crowd gathered at the historic Jagdish Chowk to greet him with flower garlands. He was honored with a traditional Mewari pagri. Before reaching Jagdish Chowk, people along the route celebrated with fireworks and flower showers to pay tribute to this son of Udaipur.
Local youths and citizens organized a procession with drums and musical instruments to welcome Lieutenant Rathore. The event was charged with patriotic fervor, with attendees chanting slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Hindustan Zindabad,” and “Jai Hind Ki Sena.”
Several dignitaries, youth, and members of social organizations were present to congratulate Lieutenant Rathore on his achievement, emphasizing that Mewar has always been a land of heroes. They expressed pride in his accomplishment, stating that he has brought honor to Udaipur and Mewar by joining the army.
Family members shared that Divyraj Singh Rathore had dreamed of serving the nation since childhood, and through hard work, he realized his dream of becoming an officer in the Indian Army. His achievement has brought joy and pride not only to his family but to the entire region.
