Udaipur | February 24, 2026 : The 12th Inter-Divisional Civil Services Sports Tournament 2025-26 will be held in Udaipur from March 5 to 7. The district administration has intensified preparations to ensure the smooth conduct of the three-day event.
A preparatory meeting was held on Tuesday at the Mini Auditorium of the Collectorate under the direction of District Collector Namit Mehta. The meeting was attended by ADM (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore and ADM (City) Jitendra Ojha, along with officials from various departments.
ADM Rathore informed that around 850 players from all divisions of the state are expected to participate in the tournament. Detailed discussions were held regarding accommodation, food, transportation, availability of sports grounds, security arrangements and medical facilities for the participants. Instructions were also given to finalise arrangements related to the opening and closing ceremonies, invitations and hospitality.
Responsibilities were assigned to concerned departments with directions to ensure timely preparations. The District Collector stated that providing the best possible facilities to the players during the tournament is the administration’s priority to make the event successful and memorable.
The competition will include events such as table tennis, cricket, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton and kabaddi. Matches will be organised at various sports grounds and stadiums across the city.
The district administration has directed all departments to work in coordination and conduct the tournament in accordance with state-level standards.
