Udaipur Police Parades Accused to Send Strong Warning on Law and Order

New Delhi: Udaipur police have sent a firm and public message against those disturbing law and order in the city. Following the vandalism of several vehicles in the Surajpol police station area, the main accused, Nawaz Khan, was arrested and paraded on Thursday. Despite being injured and walking with the support of a wooden stick, Nawaz Khan was brought through the streets, attracting a large crowd of onlookers.

During the police procession, Nawaz Khan publicly condemned crime, stating, “Crime is a sin, police are our protectors.” The event was marked by chants of “Surajpol police zindabad,” “Vande Mataram,” and “Jai Shri Ram,” reflecting strong community support for law enforcement.

Fear in Swaraj Nagar Colony
Late Tuesday night, dozens of vehicle windows were smashed in Swaraj Nagar Colony under Surajpol police jurisdiction. This incident created an atmosphere of fear and anger among the residents, who promptly informed the police. Authorities took the matter seriously and initiated swift action.

Case Solved Within Eight Hours
Using CCTV footage and local intelligence, police identified the culprits within eight hours. Nawaz Khan, along with two juvenile accomplices, fled after the incident. A police team raided the Machhla Magra hill area, where the trio tried to escape but sustained serious injuries after falling from the hill. They were immediately taken to hospital for treatment. Following medical care, Nawaz Khan was arrested while the two minors were detained.

Strong Warning Through Public Procession
On Thursday, Surajpol police organised a procession with the accused to clearly convey that damage to public property and disruption of law and order will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Police officials stated that this action aims to strengthen public confidence in the law and instil fear among criminals.
