Udaipur, February 14: A case filed by a female official of the Udaipur city BJP against a party member is gaining traction. The accused’s family has approached police officials demanding a change in the investigating officer, leading to the assignment of Additional SP City Umesh Ojha to oversee the case. Meanwhile, BJP leaders are increasingly curious about the footage recorded by cameras related to the incident.
According to reports, the female BJP official lodged a complaint at the Bhupalpura police station, alleging that the accused made inappropriate videos using AI technology with other leaders, harassed her, blackmailed her, and pressured her for physical relations. Following the incident, the investigating officer detained the accused, who is currently in police custody.
The accused’s family, along with other community members, met with police officials, expressing dissatisfaction over their treatment during the encounter on Thursday night. They submitted a memorandum requesting a change in the investigating officer. While the police did not change the officer, they have tasked Additional SP Umesh Ojha with monitoring the entire case.
In the past two days, discussions among leaders of various political parties have intensified regarding the contents of the recorded footage, which has reportedly unsettled the entire political system. Both BJP and leaders from other parties remain eager to learn more about the videos captured by the cameras.
