Top Cooperative Officials Praise Udaipur’s Bike on Rent Innovation

Udaipur cooperative consumer wholesale store’s innovative service, Co-op Ride – Bike on Rent, has received high appreciation from senior cooperative officials of the central and state governments. These officials, attending a two-day national conference of states and union territories, visited the Bike on Rent centre at the cooperative store and gathered detailed information about its operations.

The officials applauded this unique initiative, the first of its kind in Rajasthan, calling it a model effort in the cooperative sector of the state.

Dr Pramod Kumar, General Manager of the store, shared that the national conference, organised by the Ministry of Cooperation, brought together key officials including Siddharth Jain, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation; Pankaj Kumar Bansal, Additional Secretary; and state Cooperative Secretary and Registrar Anandi, among others, who visited Udaipur for the event.

During their visit, the officials toured the cooperative consumer store, praised its functioning, and offered valuable suggestions. Dr Kumar also provided an overview of all supermarket products and discussed new work plans.

He informed that under the state government scheme, the Udaipur store is currently operating 12 outlets distributing coarse grains (Shri Ann), further advancing the vision of cooperative prosperity in Udaipur.

Present on the occasion were Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies Gunjan Chaubey, Regional Inspection Officer of Cooperative Societies Ashutosh Bhatt, along with other department officials and store staff.
