SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 Results Declared; Tier 2 Expected in January

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results for the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 examination. The exam was held between September and October 2025. Candidates can now check their scores on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in. The Tier 1 exam serves as a qualifying round to shortlist candidates for the Tier 2 exam.

The minimum qualifying marks for Tier 1 are set at 30% for the General category, 25% for OBC and EWS categories, and 20% for all other categories.

Separate cut-off marks have been released for different posts. For the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post, the cut-off for the General and OBC categories is 153.46 marks, 151.58 for EWS, 137.29 for SC, and 136.40 for ST. A total of 6,196 candidates have qualified for Tier 2 in this category.

For the Statistical Investigator Grade-II post, the cut-off marks are 152.47 for General, 152.14 for EWS, 150.51 for OBC, 137.16 for SC, and 130.16 for ST categories. In this category, 2,781 candidates have been selected for the next stage.

The commission has withheld the results of 49 candidates due to court cases or other reasons. The Tier 2 examination is likely to be conducted in the third week of January 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 14,582 vacancies in various central government departments.
