Police Superintendent Yogesh Goyal stated that on December 16, information was received that a rave party was being organised by Rajesh Sharma from Indore and Rishabh Rajput from New Delhi at Indraprastha Heritage Resort near Visma village. Women from Delhi were brought for immoral activities along with alcohol and mujra performances at the party.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Gopal Chandel said that after confirming the information, the police team sent fake customers and raided the hotel. During the search, alcohol parties and prostitution activities were found in different rooms of the hotel. A total of 31 men and 8 women involved in these immoral acts were arrested on the spot.
Those arrested include the party organisers Rajesh Sharma, Rishabh Rajput, and the hotel operator Mularam, a resident of Sadari. The accused were conducting loud sound parties at night involving alcohol, mujra, and prostitution. English brand liquor, sound systems, and other objectionable materials were seized from the site. The party fee was Rs 7,000. Cases have been registered against the accused.
According to police, most of the arrested are from Madhya Pradesh and had come to Rajasthan for indulgence. Their family members have also been informed about the matter. It is believed that this is the first case in Udaipur where such a large sex racket has been busted at once.
