National Road Safety Month Awards Ceremony in Udaipur

Udaipur, February 9: The awards ceremony for the National Road Safety Month, organized by the Transport and Road Safety Department, Aadhar Foundation, and the District Police, will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM at the Sw. Narmada Devi Agarwal Auditorium located in Geetanjali Hospital.

Regional Transport Officer Mr. Gyan Dev Vishwakarma emphasized that such initiatives not only aid in saving lives but also play a crucial role in fostering a positive mindset and behavioral change regarding road safety within the community. He noted that this event is a significant step towards providing the youth with proper direction and guidance. Mr. Vishwakarma urged the public to integrate road safety into their daily lives rather than limiting it to mere regulations, aiming to reduce accidents and protect invaluable human lives.

Narayan Chaudhary from Aadhar Foundation stated that this year’s event is titled “Awards Distribution Ceremony” instead of the traditional “Closing Ceremony.” To make the program engaging and raise public awareness, colorful cultural performances will be held, effectively conveying the message of road safety to the community. Awards and certificates will be presented to students who excelled in various competitions held during the campaign. Additionally, individuals who have made significant contributions to road safety, traffic police officers providing commendable services, and Good Samaritan citizens who have played a life-saving role by promptly transporting accident victims to hospitals will also be honored.
