Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon arrived in Udaipur on Wednesday to attend the wedding of her sister, Nupur Sanon. She was accompanied by her rumoured boyfriend, Kabir. Nupur Sanon, also an actress, is set to marry singer Stebin at the Fairmont Palace hotel on January 11.
The couple and their family members reached Dabok airport at 6 pm by chartered flight. The wedding ceremonies are scheduled to begin from January 9, culminating in the marriage rituals on January 11. The wedding will be conducted in a royal style with close friends and family in attendance.
At the airport, Kriti Sanon, Nupur, and Stebin were warmly welcomed with traditional dhol-nagara music. Fans gathered with enthusiasm to take photographs with the celebrities before they proceeded to the hotel.
Following the wedding, a reception party will be held in Mumbai on January 13 for guests from the film and music industries. Nupur had announced her engagement to Stebin on January 3 with beautiful pictures shared on social media. Kriti Sanon had also posted an emotional message after the announcement.
In an interview, Stebin described his relationship with Nupur as very special and close. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon had expressed her emotions on social media by saying, “Ah, I am going to cry a lot.” Nupur’s engagement post included the caption, “In a world full of maybe’s, I found the easiest ‘yes’ so far.”
This celebration follows other grand weddings in Udaipur recently, highlighting the city’s popularity for royal-style ceremonies.
