Udaipur, February 19: The Jain Social Group ‘Main’ in Udaipur celebrated its 29th Charter Day with great enthusiasm, featuring a cultural program. The event was graced by chief guest Arun Mandot, President of Mewar Region Udaipur, along with R.C. Mehta, Vice President of JSGIF, and special guest Paras Dhelawat, Chairman Elect.
Media In-charge Professor Vimal Sharma reported that the celebration commenced with a traditional welcome, including tilak and the distribution of trophies to members. The program included humorous yoga, a collective Navkar mantra chant, group prayers led by Mrs. Rama Sacheti and Lalita Babel, and a reading of federation principles by Dr. Pramila Jain.
The event was conducted by Mrs. Usha Dak, who invited the dignitaries to the stage for the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Group President K.S. Nalwaya extended warm wishes to the chief guest, special guests, and all members on the occasion of the 29th Charter Day, Maha Shivratri, and Holi. He also congratulated members celebrating birthdays and anniversaries in January and February and expressed gratitude for Arun Mandot’s official visit.
Nalwaya highlighted that since April 2025, the group has conducted 158 service activities, raising funds of ₹12,02,100, along with 31 other activities. He thanked all benefactors and members for their support, specifically acknowledging individuals who contributed to the service initiatives.
The entertainment segment featured six dance performances, showcasing talents from members including Mrs. Sushma Jain, Asha Mogara, Asha Singhvi, Prabha Jain, Vimla Soni, Mehtab Hiran, and Sharda Talesra.
All officials praised the group’s service efforts and the entertainment program in their speeches, extending thanks and best wishes to everyone. The event concluded with Vice President Kamal Kothari thanking guests and members and inviting them for a meal, followed by the national anthem. Attendees enjoyed a delicious feast together.
