Government Support Brings Hope to Grieving Family

Udaipur, February 9: A recent village upliftment camp held in Udaipur district has brought a glimmer of hope to a grieving family following a tragic incident. The camp, initiated by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, aims to provide support and welfare to the elderly, youth, poor farmers, livestock keepers, and marginalized communities.

During the camp, a poignant story emerged from the village of Bildiya where 22-year-old Pushkar Singh tragically lost his life after being bitten by a venomous snake while working in the fields. His father, Sohan Singh, shared the heartbreak of losing his youngest and most hardworking son, who had dreams of marrying both his sons together.

In this difficult time, the Rajasthan government’s Chief Minister Krishak Saathi Yojana stepped in to provide assistance. During the village upliftment camp, Sub-Divisional Officer Shubham Bhisare presented a cheque of ₹2 lakh to Sohan Singh, offering much-needed support to the bereaved family. As Sohan Singh accepted the cheque with trembling hands, he felt the pain of his son’s loss but also a renewed sense of hope knowing that the government stood by them in their time of crisis.

The family expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma for the assistance, which they viewed not just as financial aid but as a beacon of hope in their darkest hour. The event was attended by social worker Nikhil Kothari, former deputy head Lakshman Singh Jhala, Tehsildar Praveen Kumar Saini, Additional Development Officer Devendra Kumar, and other officials who offered their condolences and support to the grieving family.
