
Udaipur, March 1: The 78th Foundation Day of the Anuvrat Committee was celebrated today at the Terapanth Bhavan in Mahapragya Vihar, under the guidance of Sadhvi Dr. Piyush Prabha and other dignitaries. The event commenced with the hoisting of the Anuvrat flag.
Committee President Pranita Talesra shared that Suman Dagaliya, Lakshmi Kothari, and Vijay Lakshmi Nainawati performed the Anuvrat song as part of the auspicious beginning. Abhishek Pokharna, Minister of the Terapanth Sabha, welcomed attendees and emphasized that the Anuvrat movement, being inclusive of all communities, can instill moral values in society. Vice President Vinod Ji highlighted that Acharya Tulsi initiated this movement with a vision to guide the upliftment of the nation.
Sadhvi Bhavanshree remarked on the importance of inner freedom, urging individuals to adopt small vows for a successful life. She noted that the Anuvrat movement has reached from humble beginnings to the President’s residence, advocating for the establishment of moral values in workplaces and homes.
President Pranita Talesra pointed out that a unique aspect of Anuvrat is its focus on moral education and social service, which is making a significant impact not only in India but across the globe. Sadhvi Shri Sudha Kumari expressed her thoughts through a poetic rendition, while Sadhvi Dr. Piyush Prabha spoke against violence in the name of religion, encouraging the pursuit of non-violence and the adoption of small vows to become Anuvratis.
The movement, which began 78 years ago in Sardarshahr, continues to spread worldwide, emphasizing that humanity comes first, before any religious identity. On this occasion, Vice President Rajendra Singh Sen and Mitali Jain, a member of the All India Terapanth Women’s Committee, also shared their insights.
Minister Lakshmi Kothari concluded the event by thanking everyone and encouraging a collective commitment to embody the principles of truth, non-violence, and morality in their lives to improve families and society. The program was successfully conducted by Sadhvi Shri Deepti Yasha.
